Þjóðdansafélag Reykjavíkur hosts open activities where our members get the chance to learn and dance many varied folk dances. We are located in Álfabakki 14a. The activities hosted in our venue are as follows:

Mondays: Open dance evenings at 20:00 for high school and university-aged members (15-25 years old). Members can learn dances from Iceland, the Nordic countries and more.

Thursdays: Open dance evenings where both Icelandic and foreign dances are taught and danced. We start at 20:00.

Sundays: Open dance classes where the dances of the royal variety are practised.

No fee has been collected for participation in these classes.
